FAITH Catholic sweeps Mid-Michigan Addy Awards
All of FAITH Catholic's 11 entries received recognition at the Mid Michigan Creative Alliance's (MMCA) annual Addy Awards on Feb. 17, 2020 in Lansing. Creative Director Kayla Simon, Art Director/Studio Manager Rachel Matero, and Designers Jose Mendez and Matt Watters received Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards for their submissions. The MMCA is part of the American Advertising Federation, which sponsors the American Advertising Awards, or Addys, recognizing and rewarding the spirit of creative excellence in advertising and media.
"I am so proud of our success at the Addys, but even more so of our whole team," Simon said. "These awards are excellent, but they're only a small selection of all our outstanding work on behalf of our clients."
FAITH Catholic President and CEO Patrick O'Brien said this year's Addys are typical of FAITH's longtime commitment to design excellence. "Our mission as a company — to connect people with Jesus and his Church — depends in large part on using beautiful design to draw people into the content our clients are sharing with their readers. It's truly wonderful to see our design team use their gifts and talents in such inspiring ways, and to see them get such tremendous recognition for the work they do. I'm so proud of them."
